It can be self-hosted or used as a managed cloud service, and pricing is event-based with a generous monthly free tier. PostHog has first-class SDKs for web, iOS, Android, and most server runtimes, and integrates with data warehouses for export and modelling. Its open-source positioning and event-based pricing model make it a common alternative to per-MTU SaaS analytics tools.
