Lightdash

Lightdash is an open-source BI tool that sits directly on top of dbt projects, turning dbt models and metrics into a self-serve exploration and dashboarding layer. It can be self-hosted for free or run as a managed cloud product priced per seat. Lightdash appeals to teams that already standardise on dbt and want their BI semantic layer to live alongside their transformations rather than in a separate proprietary tool. It is frequently compared to Metabase and Looker for dbt-centric stacks.
